Below are two important lists. The first is a list of all of South Africa’s economic/trade offices around the world. The second is a list of all of South Africa’s diplomatic missions around the world. These are two different lists! While it is common for the economic offices to be located within the missions, there are many missions that do not have economic/trade offices attached to them. If there is an economic/trade office attached to a mission, you should approach this office – there is no benefit in trying to make contact with any other staff in the mission (unless it is for political or consular purposes, such as to replace a stolen visa), as they will simply refer you to their economic/trade office. Remember that the economic/trade offices are part of the Department of Trade and Industry.

Your list of South African missions abroad
As not all of our overseas diplomatic missions have economic/trade offices attached to them, there may be times when you need to approach a diplomatic mission for help. For this reason, we have provided you with a list of South Africa missions abroad. Bear in mind that you may need to approach the mission for other reasons, such as replacing a lost visa.
